See other days-> September 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15
September 10, 1999
This was my third day in Tokyo but I still feel exotic. I can't believe I grew up here. And it's difficult to admit that certain part of me was cultivated in this disorder.
Today: Kojimachi
(my place) -> Otemachi -> Harajyuku -> Shinjyuku -> Yotsuya ->
Nishi-Azabu
Kojimachi
Station
Tokyo is also a huge underground city. This corridor is more than 6 miles long. |
Mr.Sato
of Sankei Shinbun, the Japan's leading nationwide news paper.
'Kiosk'
in the subway station. You can even buy your underwear there.
Otemachi
Station
Harajyuku
is the district like SOHO. Like it, many suburbanite come in the weekend,
but many are kids.
Street
in Hrajyuku
Japanese
style confectionery / tea room. You can have sweetened beans over Jell-O.
Stupid
kids play on the street. They make me sick!
They too!
Shinjyuku
Station.
People, people, people... |
Population
density is high in Asia.
Shinjyuku.
Times Square like chaotic place for shopping and so called 'fun.'
There are
many camera, computer, electric shops in town. Inside of shops are chaotic.
What is
'the Great Faces Exhibition'?
Saci Perere,
Brazilian restaurant and music place. They charged me fuXXing $18 for
bad music. The food was bad. I will never go. But the guest Japanese
seem having fun. 80% guests there were dancing like crazy.
Mr. Fujii
of G's Corporation. My new colleague. He is a swimmer too.
Entrance
of Saci Perere. It looks like porn shop in New York.
Bar Spice
in Nishi-Azabu. My bartender friend there quitted the job two years
ago. Pity. You can see the traffic on the Metropolitan Highway. It's
nice. It's only reason to go.
Flyers
of Escort Service. You can find them in the pay phone booth.
Vending
machine of 'Energy drinks.' This is how the Japanese dope.
Aoyama
Book Center (ABC) book store in Roppongi. They open till 4 am. I like
it.
The Japanese
plays music in the video arcade! They play video games to show their
talent.
And the
DJs too.
